Gulfport boys soccer hosted their annual Soccer Showcase featuring some of the best teams from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida - the Panhandle specifically.

The Admirals had no problems against visiting Florida team, Booker T. Washington, as they shutout the Wildcats 3-0 to improve to 9-0 on the season. Right across the field, Ocean Springs boys soccer took on the third-ranked team in Florida, according to MaxPreps, in Niceville who were undefeated on the year. Neither team could find the back of the net and had to settle for a 0-0 tie.

Ocean Springs and Long Beach girls soccer teams participated as well in the showcase Saturday, but fell in shutouts to their competition as the Lady Greyhounds lost to St. Scholastica 3-0 and the Bearcats fell to Navarre 2-0.
