In a South Mississippi showdown doubleheader, the Ocean Springs Lady Greyhounds outlasted George County 2-0 in the second overtime period, while the Greyhounds handled the Rebels 5-0 in regulation.
Over in Gulfport, the Admirals kicked things off with a 5-1 victory over Pearl, and the Lady Admirals bested the Lady Pirates with a score of 4-1.

In the girls ranks, St. Martin fell to Oak Grove 7-1, while Hancock’s season came to an end at the hands of Brandon, falling 3-0. West Harrison got a big win over Brookhaven 6-0, but Pearl River Central got blanked by South Jones 7-0.
